Community Events and Experiences Lead
37 hours per week
Salary £52,659 per annum
39 days annual leave (including Bank Holiday and Company days) + 2 wellbeing days a year + weekly exercise and wellbeing hours
This is a home based role with regular travel as required
Role Summary:
The Community Events and Experiences Lead will support the Events and Experiences Director with strategically developing and implementing a reimagined approach to supporting local, regional and national community events, festivals and experiences to happen and be celebrated in line with the evolving Events and Experiences Strategic Plan.
Specifically, the Community Events and Experiences Lead will have oversight of; the strategic planning and delivery of localised support for affiliated organisation and delivery partners with events and experiences; lead strategic planning and operational delivery of national and international recreational experiences in line with BG experience products and FIG GfA requirements (e.g. School Games, GymFusion, World Gym for Life, Euro Gym and Gymnastrada); partnering with internal and external stakeholders to engage with and communicate local and regional events and experiences.
The Community Events and Experiences Lead will have strategic responsibility for commercial success and social impact of current Gymnast Experience products and services (e.g. Rise Gymnastics) and future concepts (e.g. ‘event in a box’) aligned to clearly and appropriately defined measures.
